Well, I am trying to get my self more organized, so that maybe, I can get back to painting. I'm afraid I have been in a real slump the last few months; my pain level has been so bad that I just can't seem to be motivated enough to paint. I decided to re organize my studio last week. Mac bought me some new shelving for the corner of the room and it has helped to get things picked up and off the floor. I am starting a new painting as soon as we get finished.
A year ago, my youngest daughter was married in West Virginia at Stonewall State Park. It is a beautiful spot and the wedding was on a knoll overlooking the lake. Brianna asked that I do a painting of the 2 of them under the chuppah, with the lake in the background. I did a small piece to see if she liked the composition , so now I am going to start on the larger piece. Hope it comes out well, it's always hard to paint a piece for family, but as it is for my daughter I feel extra pressure to make it perfect.
I have been having more bad days than good lately and while I'm looking forward to getting back to work, I'm also a little fearful. So, wish me luck, and pray for more good days than bad.
