This is Izzy, she belongs to my daughter Brianna and lives in Baltimore. She is one of sweetest and most loyal dogs. We actually gave Izzy to Brianna for her birthday the second year after she moved to Baltimore. She was lonely and now lived alone, so of course as a mama, I was worried about her. I bought her from a breeder in a little town outside of San Antonio. She was 6 weeks old when we picked her up and flew with her to Baltimore for Thanksgiving in 2007. She made the trip like a champ and was a real hit with everyone we met. She never barked or cried the whole way; she just stuck her nose out of the carrier and laid it against my leg. I have painted her before as a puppy. She is totally spoiled but that's all right, she deserves it.
Brianna is married now and expecting her first baby. We are so excited; this will be our 6th grandchild. I expect Izzy will make an excellent babysitter.
I love doing portraits, especially of dogs and horses, capturing their loving spirit and special personality forever for those who love them. Our pets never live as long as we would like them to, but they never leave our hearts.
