Well, 2017 has not been shaping up to be any better, physically, than 2016 was. My back is still giving me fits and sitting or standing for long periods is extremely painful. And you can't paint lying down. I have had a lot of other things going on in my life and family though. Grandkids are the joy of my life right now.
Our oldest granddaughter graduated Valedictorian of her High School class and has been accepted to the Honors college at Texas Tech University. We are very proud.
Our youngest grandson will soon be One year old, I have no idea where the last year has went to.
I have worked on a couple of paintings, and donated the painting you see above, to our local Education Foundation Fundraising Gala, which helps to support local schools in our community. It was purchased by a wonderful couple who do so much to support education here.
The summer months always make me hurt worse, so I will be stuck in the house for the next few months. Hopefully I will be able to get a few things accomplished., Hopefully!
Its hard to keep feeling hopeful at times. Thank God for my family.
